HISTORY
World Outreach Ministries was founded by Pastor Dale Hoch and his wife Edith in September 2003.
Pastor Dale recognized the call of God on his life for ministry shortly after his conversion on July 14th 1975. World Outreach Ministries has been in constant growth with the vision that God gave to Pastor Dale, his staff, board and congregation.
Pastor Dale and Edith's enthusiasm and dedication built over the years a firm foundation for the body of Christ to continue to grow and fulfil the great commission.
He studied Bible theology with P.A.O.C and completed the remainder of his studies with Christian View Bible College in 1981 where he graduated.
He was ordained on December 27th 1981 and went into full-time ministry in 1982.
The Lord opened doors for him to minister to people in youth groups, schools, prisons, and many churches across Canada and the United States of America. God gave him the vision to start a Christian youth activity centre "Shilo" to keep young people active and involved in their Christian walk. In 1987 a new ministry began "Firebrand Youth Ministry" to encourage and mentor young adults.
Pastor Dale had a heartbeat for missions. His first trip was to India in 1976. That trip intensified his desire even more to continue mission outreach. Work started in Mexico, Jamaica, Sri-Lanka, Cuba, Haiti and Pakistan. World Outreach Ministries also supported a Messianic school in Israel. It was a special highlight to visit the school while hosting a Tour Group into Israel in February 2018.
He launched and hosted "Ministry in the Word", a local radio broadcast on Faith Fm 93.7 in Kitchener.
In 2010 he also launched and hosted "Faith on Fire" television broadcast on DaystarTV, where many lives were touched, healed and Blessed.
Author of a book "Thunder from Heaven", a story about his personal journey in life before and after his Christian conversion.
On November 23, 2018, his work on earth was done and he transitioned to his eternal home in heaven. He succumbed to his injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident on October 19th 2018.
He will forever be remembered by his family, congregants and many, many friends. He is greatly missed but we know that we will all soon be joining him and our precious Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ for a grand reunion.
In the meantime, we continue to run the race following in the footsteps of Jesus and the great example that was our Pastor, Dale Hoch.
Through the lives he touched, his legacy will carry on touching many other lives.
Missed and dearly loved by his wife Edith, but "I have a hope, one day we will be together again - forever".
